 VERY GOOD BIRD FOOD ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICEApr 01, 2011

I was pleased with this food as were my birds; a Mexican Double Yellow Head parrot over 30 years old and cockatiel. I ordered it as i needed food quickly and it was one of the few with prime shipping. I ordered it as a fill in until i could get the more expensive parrot food I usually feed them. However, I was surprised that the quality was good enough to feed my birds all the time. Great price too!

How good a seed mix is depends on your bird. All of them seem to pick the seeds they like out of the mix, so the thing you have to find out is how much of any particular mix your bird will eat. Mine was not especially fond of the Geisler, so I won't be ordering it again. Your bird, of course, might think it's quite tasty, and the price per pound is very reasonable, so you might like to try a bag.

This is great, high-quality parrot food. There are lots of peanuts, sunflower seeds, saffron and chiles in it. My bird really loves it and the price is good.

I'm happy with the quality of feed and my birds eat and toss it as is normal. I have one pet peeve on these resealable bags; they hardly ever work and if they do, it's too difficult to be worth it. I'm beginning to put the feed in resealable canisters and throwing the bags away. It may seem minor, but day after day, it's annoying. Make them work or drop the claim.

Lots of cherry peppers, peanuts, sunflower, safflower, and corn. It looks good enough to eat.
