Croatia Directions to make coffee: 1.For each cup desired, measure one demi-tasse cup of cold water into a briki or narrow-necked coffee pot. 2.Add one teaspoon of coffee and sugar to taste. Stir well. 3.Bring to a boil over medium heat. 4.Remove from heat as coffee begins to rise and pour into demi-tasse cups, dividing the foam equally between each cup. NOTE: Coffee should not be stirred once it has been poured.

best coffee ever, or so my american friends say..Aug 02, 2007
By J. Malnar what is so amazingly different about this coffee? the fact that it is not incinerated, so its color as well as taste is much lighter (more coffee- less charcoal-tasting) than all other coffees anywhere in the world. i am a coffee lover and i've tried most major european brands plus jamaican blue mountain plus a number of starbucks' blends.. and i still prefer this one, the one i "grew up on" (i'm a croatian, and this is most popular croatian coffee). funny thing is, my american friends are also crazy about it. they say it simply tastes the best.
