Since my move away from anywhere with an, "Old Spaghetti Factory," I have been craving spaghetti with browned butter and Myzithra cheese. I could not locate a local source for the cheese. I was pleased to find it available through Amazon. I found a recipe for the dish online and ordered the cheese. The cheese was very fresh and arrived in good condition. I made the dish and it turned out well. I will be ordering it again!

Like a previous reviewer, I ordered this in an attempt to replicate the Spaghetti Factory's browned butter with myzithra cheese dish. We live too far from any of Spaghetti Factories to enjoy it there. This cheese tastes exactly like the myzithra served at their restaurants, maybe even a little better: salty, strong, dry. A little goes a long way.
Also, the order from Parthenon came quickly and well-packed. Very happy overall.

This is the third time I ordered cheese from this company. It came extremely fast when ordered thru Amazon however you'll receive a 10% off discount card and be urged to order direct from the company in your box. When you do however it will take much longer to receive that shipment.
The cheese that I received today and used in my recipe tasted like nothing...powder. It's tasteless almost like they forgot to add something.
I'll be throwing the remainder of the cheese away. It'll be a crapshoot whether you'll get something like I got this time or maybe if you're lucky you'll get a good one. I wouldn't waste another dime with them.

We live in a small town in Tennessee and searched everywhere in a 150-mile radius for Myzithra with no luck. Rather than traveling hundreds of miles to the nearest Old Spaghetti Factory we finally decided it was cheaper to buy it on Amazon and pay the shipping costs. We were pleasantly surprised by this company's efficient service and the quality of the product is 5-star. Like another reviewer said, it is strong and salty, and a little goes a long way. Parthenon Foods is great, they even included a coupon for 10% off our next purchase!
